About

I spent most of my youth growing up on the western slope of Colorado. During this time I became fascinated with photography and videography that my grandfather would capture on his hikes throughout the national and state parks/forests. I have fond memories of him coming over for dinner to show my family where his travels had taken him.

Years later I joined the United States Air Force and started off on a career that I knew nothing about, Air Traffic Control. After graduating boot camp and technical training, it was time to start controlling the skies over South Dakota. I spent six years in a state that brought me many great memories sandwiched between the black hills and the bad lands. All the knowledge I acquired about aviation was earned through some of the most demanding training I had ever completed.

Skipping forward to today, I am now a full time Air Traffic Controller at Springfield-Branson National Airport and have been living and working in the great state of Missouri for several years now. I started MO Drone Productions as a way to combine my love for photography and my experience in aviation as an attempt to bring my interests into a commercial service I am passionate about doing.

A lot of new drone pilots are taking to the skies in the last few years, not knowing the rules the FAA has implemented over them and their Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV’s). As a Certified Professional Air Traffic Control Specialist of over 13 years, I can tell you aviation safety is not something you want to overlook. If you are looking for a drone pilot to conduct your aerial services please consider the experience of the person you are hiring.
