Are you FAA certified?

Yes. MO Drone is certified under FAA Part 107 which is required to fly commercially.

Do you carry insurance on your drone flights?

MO Drone can carry liability insurance on any of our drone missions on a case by case basis. Usually this consists of insurance of up to and including 1 million dollars. All insurance costs will be built into the final bill.

What clients do you do work with?

Currently, MO Drone works alongside of real estate agents, local businesses, and ranchers throughout southwest Missouri.

How high can you fly your drones?

Currently the FAA restricts all commercial drone pilots to 400’ above the ground. Only in very rare cases can the 400’ threshold be broken. If your needs go beyond the 400’ requirement, we allow a heads up in advance to file an LAANC with the FAA.

How far can your drones fly?

Our drones are rated for up to 15km. However, FAA restrictions require all commercial and recreational pilots to drone within line of sight. MO Drone Productions, LLC operates all drones within line of sight.

How fast are your drones?

Both of our drones on staff can handle routine speeds up to 55mph. However these are not optimal for the kind of media we produce and can create increased risk in the wrong environments. We routinely fly in the 10-25mph range.

Do you rent equipment? cameras? drones?

Unfortunately, we do not rent or sell any inventory.

What drones do you currently have in operation?

Right now we routinely use the Mavic 3 and Mavic 2 Pro.
